The Harlem Globtrotters are coming to JQH Arena in Springfield, MO on Thursday Evening January 21, 2010. It is with great excitement that I announce the kickoff of ministry to the new year. I have been very anxious to share Christ with others, but it is much more difficult in the cold season. This is a great opportunity to start the new year in service to the God who saved me. Please feel free to join us at 5:30pm on the corner of Hammons Pkwy & Monroe. We will be joining Greg Marlin with Born of Him Ministries along with several others that have the same desire to reach the lost. We had a wonderful time sharing the Gospel with many people at Heritage Days on September 26, 2009 in Fair Grove, MO. Along with myself there were 6 others willing to take the time out of their Saturday to come pass out tracts. We were able to pass out approximately 3,000 Tracts in a matter of a couple hours. Praise be to God as He allows us to be a part of His plan to redeem those that will repent and trust the Savior, Jesus Christ.

Please join us in Fair Grove Missouri on September 26, 2009 for the Fair Grove Heritage Reunion Days. The parade is at 10am, so we will be meeting with Greg Marlin of Born of Him Ministries at 9:30am at the High School and several others will be joining us to pass out tracts while walking the parade route. Last year I had the awesome opportunity to pass out thousands of tracts. I completely underestimated the quantity of tracts last year and hope to be more prepared this year.
Chris & Conrad was the musical group that was performing on the square this evening. Before we were able to arrive at the square, Greg Marlin had open air preached to the many people awaiting the start of the concert. Greg told me that he did not have much opposition and the Gospel was given. It was necessary to open air before the concert started because the music was very loud, competing with it would have been very difficult. After we arrived, Bill and I were able to pass out several tracts on the square in Springfield, MO. We attempted to walk the streets and pass out tracts there as well, but the streets were quite empty, since most business were closed for the holiday. We stayed downtown for approximately one hour predominantly passing out tracts, it was near impossible to converse with anyone without yelling over the music. Sometimes it seems a waste of time, but we know that God will be faithful to use His Gospel we are to only be faithful to give the message of salvation and a summons to repentance and faith.

What an awesome time of training and fellowship. I had the wonderful pleasure of assisting my friend Brad St. Clair with a group of over 30 people who share a passion of spreading the Law & Gospel to those who have not heard. We spent several hours in a Crash Course, with curriculum from Way of the Master. There were several special speakers to share, including myself at the end of class. It was a pleasure to share with the group what God has done in my life over the past couple years regarding evangelism. After the class training, we went to the Broiler Festival in Crane, MO and put what we learned into practice. There is no better training than hands-on training, especially when it comes to evangelism.
Please pray for the many people who received the Gospel verbally or written (tracts).
